I'm Lesley

I have worked as a Manager and Leader in Health & Social Care for over 30 years.

Founder of Registered Care Manager, creator of the Qualitizer Process™ and lover of all thing equestrian with a sprinkling of cats and dogs.

I founded Registered Care Manager in 2011 with a vision to help others effectively manage care services and achieve consistently high-quality outcomes for the individuals they support and the businesses they lead.

With my background as a registered nurse, management graduate, and chartered CIPD member, I bring a wealth of expertise to help care professionals like you achieve exceptional results.

Having held senior roles in operations, project management, and overseeing multiple care sites, I understand the complexities of commissioning and managing high-quality care services.

Through the success of my award-winning company, Boltonshaw Home Care, I’ve seen first hand how going beyond the basics can truly transform care services.

Now, I’m here to help you apply that same dedication, using my experience to support you in delivering outstanding care and making a lasting impact in your service.

How it all started...

30 Years of Experience, One Proven Process: The Birth of the Qualitizer Process™

After 30 years of managing what is often termed 'turn around' in care services and supporting other managers to deliver quality improvement , I realised I had developed a method that I used time and again.

The Qualitizer Process™ was born from my hands-on experience and is designed specifically to support care professionals like you. It’s a simple, reliable approach focused on enhancing your service quality, improving outcomes, and ensuring sustained success.

Having tested and refined it over time, it’s now at the heart of how I help managers like you drive real, lasting improvements in care services.

Some facts about me...

I’m on my own journey from being an inadequate horse rider to aiming for outstanding and I know first hand how challenging and rewarding that path can feel and how effective having a mentor to guide me on my journey has been.

I focused on building my

nursing skills, earning a management degree for

solid knowledge, and getting

a post-grad in HR because

it’s such a key area in our field.

I've celebrated some amazing milestones, including winning Registered Manager at the Carers Awards and ranking my home care company in the Regional top 10 on "homecare.com"

I’m proud of the tangible results my teams have achieved, such as winning Newcomer of the Year and being shortlisted for Dementia Carer of the Year in the Carers Awards.
These successes show how nurturing staff teams is key to helping to deliver outstanding care and achieve similar results in your own service

I’m passionate about enhancing care delivery and I’ve pursued this passion working with providers and NHS commissioners through my company Registered Care Manager Ltd since 2011,
supporting with tools, guidance, and expertise to improve service quality, meet compliance standards, and deliver exceptional care.
